Millie - Champion of Champions
Millie – Champion of Champions

We had a delightful time at the  Muirfield Riding Therapy Fun Dog Show, on Sunday, 10th March in West Fenton.

Despite the cold and wet weather (snowy in some nearby areas!), there was a good turnout of people and pooches, making for a difficult decision for judges on the day.

Congratulations go to the winners of all the classes, and especially to Millie the Old English Bulldog puppy, who came top in a very competitive Prettiest Bitch Class and then took the final Champion of Champions prize.  Part of her award will be a free Barking Cat photo session, and we’re very much looking forward to that!

During the day, managed to snap a good few pictures of the gorgeous dogs, all types, all sizes and all personalities, and sneaked in a few cuddles as well!  🙂

Visit this gallery to browse them all.

You can also download lightly watermarked pictures from the day and share them on social media, via email, use as computer or portable device wallpaper or make small prints.  Further information on use can be found here.

Follow these steps to download your choice of pictures(s):

  • Click on the picture you want to enlarge it.
  • Choose “Small Watermarked Images FREE” from the “Select” menu at the bottom (scroll to the very bottom of the menu), then click the button to “Place Order”
  • Your picture should appear in the shopping basket.  You can order non-watermarked digital images, prints or other items if you wish.
  • When finished, click to proceed to the next page to fill in your name, email and give consent to process your information.
  • Click “next” to review the shopping basket and place the order.  You’ll then see a link for downloading your image(s) and receive the link via email.

Huge thanks to all the volunteers and staff at Muirfield Riding Therapy for organising such a wonderful community event again this year.  The charity has been providing therapy riding sessions free-of-charge for children and adults with various disabilities across East and Mid Lothian since 1989.

It is volunteer-led and fully self-funded, relying on events and the generosity of individuals and organisations for its work.

Thanks also to the local firms that supported the event with their stalls including The Dog EditBwuntys Scwibbles, Moonstone Makes, East Lothian Canine Clinical Canine Massage Centre, and NB Dogs of North Berwick.
