With animals, as with children, I think the best pictures are those that look natural and catch them in spontaneous moments of fun.

I aim to be as unobtrusive as possibly with minimal equipment, mostly natural lighting and in surroundings where animals feel happy and relaxed.  Often, I just sit on the floor and snap away quietly as the animal behaves naturally.

While I spend considerable time editing and refining my creations to ensure they are “just right,” I use digital manipulation sparingly to retain a natural feel and appearance.   So, for example, I wouldn’t ordinarily “edit out” collars, leads or toys.

However, I’m always happy to try new ideas and will discuss with you your requirements to ensure you are happy with the results.
