A few folks asked about copies of photos, so I’ve popped the high res files into a Photobox Gallery here – just browse and order directly. There’s a free delivery code on orders over £15 until midnight Thursday 27th as well. Enter FREEDEL15 at the checkout. If you’d like something Photobox doesn’t provide, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do!
What a lovely day at West Lothian College in Livingston with some magnificent dogs and their people at the Dogs Trust West Calder fun day on Sunday 23rd August!
The sunshine was a welcome contrast to the very wet Saturday, but with more than a brisk breeze, the marquee stayed folded up for safety.
It was nigh on impossible to keep anything from flying off the table, so the bandanas and bobbles were tucked away safely. That left more time for chatting!
It was such a busy day, there was little time to visit the dozens of fantastic stalls from charities like Springer Rescue Scotland, Pets as Therapy and Scottish Greyhound Sancturary to those selling lovely wares like Dugs n Pubs, Scentsy and Edinburgh Dog Photographer.
Dogs of every shape, size, colour and age paraded past, and I was fortunate to snap a few of them
despite the less-than-picturesque setting and heavy contrast from the sunshine. A huge thanks to
everyone who kindly let me snap their pups and for the lovely conversations.
Just talking about animals with others who love animals makes me smile from top to toe! Reminds me why I decided to do this daft thing and set up Barking Cat 🙂 and am loving every minute of it.
Thank you Dogs Trust for organising such a fab event and hope you raised oodles for what is a fantastic and important cause. Looking forward to next year’s event already!
Here are a few caught shots from the day. They are quite small files but if anyone is interested in enlargements or other products from them, or arranging a photo shoot with your pet(s) or for your business, just get in touch. Feel free to share these images on Facebook or other social media, but please don’t crop or change them, remove the logo or use them for overtly commercial purposes without permission from Barking Cat. Oh, and a wee plug for our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest would be welcome, too! Enjoy!
